To kick off national audiobook month, we thought it would be fun to profile one of our users – see what their favorite books are, and how & where they use Audiobooks. Alec Nunn is one of the app’s biggest fans. We recently asked him a few questions, here’s what he had to say:
CF: What is your favorite Audiobook and why?
AN: My favorite audiobook offered by Audiobooks is probably The Willows by Algernon Blackwood or The Wind In The Willows by Kenneth Grahame.
CF: Why do you love Audiobooks?
AN: I love Audiobooks because it brings out the hassle of me having to download the books from LibriVox on my computer and manually adding it to iTunes and then editting the info so I can listen to the story in order. It is a small, fast, and overall awesome app. I love the new interface because it simplified everything.
CF: Where do you listen to Audiobooks?
AN: I listen to Audiobooks all the time. I listen to it when I am on the bus, when I’m at school, when I am going to sleep. I pretty much listen to Audiobooks anytime I can.
CF: Do you read hard copy books, or do you mostly listen to audiobooks?
AN: I read the hard copy of the books, but I will never be able to read something without wanting to hear it from somebody else. Lots of times though, I will listen to the audiobooks before I even attempt to read it.
CF: What else do you want everyone to know about you?
AN: I would like everybody else to know that Audiobooks is the best app out there, and to be on the watch for some more of the Tom Swift audiobooks this summer (I am going to be recording a few of them).
