If your plus and pro books disappeared with the update, they’re not gone forever. Within the app, click on Options – then at the top right corner, click on settings. The settings screen will pop up, and at the bottom of the screen is the Restore Purchases Button. Once you click the Restore Button, you will be asked for your iTunes password. Once you enter your password, you will get a pop-up that says:
All previous purchases have been restored. If you have downloaded books on a previous version, you will still need to navigate to those books and add them to your library. We sincerely thank you for your continued support.
As the message says, you will need to re-download the books that were purchased previously, but you will not be charged for them.

I have THE WORST time understanding how your downloads etc work. It is very confusing. It looks like I am purchasing thru itunes but it does not show up like the others book -but it is downloaded thru itunes. Hopefully I have not purchased Dragonfly in Amber 100 times! As I could not find – so I thought it was not downloading the book. It’s very confusing!
Since upgrading to OS 4.0.2 on my iPhone 3G and updating audiobooks premium, the audiobooks app freezes while asking if I wish to see a movie about it’s new features and underneath it has an update but the screen freezes.
We have an update waiting for approval by Apple that should fix this issue. I’m sorry you’re having difficulty.
